KVKK Privacy Notice
1. Data Controller

2. Scope
This notice applies to personal data of natural persons who visit the LoE website, use its contact form, or communicate in connection with the website by email or phone.
Separate notices may apply to customers, suppliers, job applicants, physical visitors, CCTV records or other processing activities.
3. Personal Data Processed
- Identity and professional details: name, surname, company, position or title.
- Contact details: email address and phone number.
- Request and communication details: messages, quotations, cooperation, support or feedback records.
- Transaction-security details: IP address, access date and time, logs, browser and device information.
- Cookie and preference details: cookie choices, language and website preferences.
4. Purposes and Legal Grounds
- Providing the website, maintaining security and resolving technical issues: technical and security data; legal obligation and legitimate interests under Articles 5/2-ç and 5/2-f KVKK.
- Assessing and responding to contact, quotation, cooperation, support and feedback requests: identity, contact and request data; depending on the request, Articles 5/2-c, 5/2-e and 5/2-f KVKK.
- Preventing unauthorised access, misuse and fraud and protecting rights in disputes: relevant records; Articles 5/2-e and 5/2-f KVKK.
- Meeting statutory obligations and responding to duly authorised requests: necessary records; Articles 5/2-a and 5/2-ç KVKK.
- Optional analytics, advertising or marketing cookies, newsletters and similar activities: relevant data; separate explicit consent under Article 5/1 KVKK and, where required, separate approval under commercial electronic communications law.
5. Recipient Groups and Transfer Purposes
Personal data may be transferred, in a limited and proportionate manner, to hosting, email, IT, security and communication providers for service delivery and security; to lawyers and advisers where legally necessary; and to competent public bodies where required by law or by a duly authorised request.
6. International Transfers
Personal data may be transferred abroad where a service provider’s infrastructure is located abroad or data can be accessed from abroad. Transfers rely on an adequacy decision, appropriate safeguards or a limited exception under Article 9 KVKK. The Company separately determines and documents the mechanism actually used.
7. Collection Methods
Personal data is collected by automated or partly automated means through website forms, email and telephone communications, server and security logs, cookies and similar technologies.
8. Retention and Disposal
Data is retained for the period required by the purpose and by applicable statutory retention or limitation periods. Communication records are kept for the time needed to close the request and address potential disputes; security logs for a limited period required for security; and cookies for the periods shown in the Cookie Preference Panel.
When the processing condition ceases, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised under applicable disposal procedures.
9. Rights under Article 11 KVKK
- Learn whether personal data is processed and request information if it is.
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly.
- Know third parties to whom data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad.
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
- Request deletion or destruction where statutory conditions are met.
- Request notification of correction, deletion or destruction to third parties receiving the data.
- Object to an adverse result arising solely from automated analysis.
- Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
10. Request Method and Time Limit
Requests may be sent in writing to the Company address, clearly identifying the applicant and request. A request may also be sent to [email protected] from an email address previously notified to and recorded by the Company. Other methods announced by the Company may also be accepted.
Requests are concluded as soon as possible and no later than 30 days, depending on their nature. A fee permitted by applicable rules may be charged where the process incurs an additional cost.
11. Notice and Consent Are Separate
This document provides information and is not a consent form. Where explicit consent is required, separate, specific, informed and freely selectable approval options are provided. Refusal of consent affects only optional activities that rely on consent.
12. Language and Applicable Law
Translations are provided for information. In the event of a discrepancy, the Turkish text prevails, without prejudice to mandatory legal provisions and non-waivable rights.
13. Updates
This notice may be updated when legislation, technologies or processing activities change. The current version takes effect when published on the website.
